I believe that a generally accepted theory among Christian religions is that when Christ died on the cross for the sins of mankind, He gave every person who has or will ever live the opportunity to be saved. Then He was risen from the dead then ascended to heaven where He prepares a place for the saved. I believe Christianity says that Christ is the only way to heaven, I don’t think it puts limits on how or who He chooses to save. It does say that God wants all of us to be saved.
And according to Romans 3:10 “There is none righteous, no, not one.” Original sin is a big part of Christianity. It’s important to reality check people with the fact that nobody is perfect in hopes they don’t get all ‘holier than thou’ and judge each other.

OMG you have to get Sydney, Elijah, and Seamus all in one show!

  3. Listening to this on YouTube, just got to when Elijah starts chattering about his religion. I say “chattering” because in my experience people who are settled in their faith, no matter what it might be, don’t chatter. True Believers (great book by Eric Hoffer), however, have a compulsion to convert others to their belief, and chatter as a way to overwhelm others with what they have to say.

The confounding question is, “what about people who have never heard of or read the Bible, who have never heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ?” The canned response is that God gets His message to everybody.

The flaw, of course, is that in the Christian religion you must “confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9) And there are people in the world, both now and in the past, who were good and decent but knew nothing of that.
