Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has been suspended from Twitter, again — this time for one week.
The platform claims that Greene violated their policy against “COVID misinformation,” by tweeting on Monday that the FDA should not approve COVID-19 vaccines because they are “failing.”
“The account will be in read-only mode for a week due to repeated violations of the Twitter Rules,” a Twitter spokesperson told CNN.
On Monday, Greene tweeted, “The FDA should not approve the covid vaccines. There are too many reports of infection & spread of #COVID19 among vaccinated people. These vaccines are failing & do not reduce the spread of the virus & neither do masks. Vaccine mandates & passports violate individual freedoms.”

In addition to her suspension, Twitter labeled the tweet as “misleading.”
Twitter’s policy on COVID-19 misinformation states that a user’s account can be locked for one week if they violate the policy four times — and permanently banned on the fifth.
Greene was also suspended for 12 hours after violating the policy with two tweets back in July.
The Georgia Representative’s first offending post was in reply to U.S.Rep Thomas Massey, who posted about resistance to compulsory COVID-19 vaccines among military members.

The second flagged tweet was a response to Dr. David Samadi, who said 47% of the UK’s new coronavirus cases are among vaccinated people. Greene said “We should invest in health, not human experimentation.”

Greene was also temporarily suspended in April. However, the company later rescinded the ban and claimed that it was a mistake by their automated system.
