RAND’S STAND: Sen. Paul Rips ‘Authoritarian’ Proposal to Place Unvaxxed On ‘No-Fly List’

Senator Rand Paul blasted a proposal this week that would effectively place unvaccinated Americans on a no-fly list; calling the move “authoritarian” and the work of “petty tyrants.”

“The CDC says you’re not supposed to get vaccinated if you’ve been infected within three months. So what are we going to do? Tell people they can’t fly for three months, even according to the CDC? … So it makes no sense. It’s complete collectivism, and all of these people are the same people who hooted and hollered and said, ‘Trump is leading us to authoritarianism.’ What could be more authoritarian than a no-fly list for people who disagree with you?” Paul told Fox & Friends.

The Republican was referring to a former Department of Homeland Security official who suggested “vaccinated people should no longer carry the burden for unvaccinated people [while flying].”

The Senator released a scathing op-ed this week that urged all Americans to “resist” new COVID regulations that limit personal liberties and free choice.

“Resist. They can’t arrest us all. They can’t keep all your kids home from school. They can’t keep every government building closed – although I’ve got a long list of ones they should. We don’t have to accept the mandates, lockdowns, and harmful policies of the petty tyrants and feckless bureaucrats. We can simply say no, not again,” writes the Republican Senator.

“Speaker Nancy Pelosi — you will not arrest or stop me or anyone on my staff from doing our jobs. We have all either had COVID, had the vaccine, or been offered the vaccine. We will make our own health choices. We will not show you a passport, we will not wear a mask, we will not be forced into random screening and testing so you can continue your drunk with power rein over the Capitol,” he adds.
