McCarthy Says House May Seek Biden Impeachment Inquiry

The Speaker Of The House Compared Biden To Former President Nixon Regarding Government Weaponization

Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy compared President Joe Biden’s alleged business dealings to former president Richard Nixon and suggested Congress may seek impeachment.

During a Monday night Fox News segment, host Sean Hannity questioned Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy about the alleged corrupt dealings of President Biden and Hunter Biden.

The Speaker commented on IRS agents who have spoken out on the President’s alleged corrupt dealings saying “the Biden family has been treated differently.”

McCarthy credited Republican victories during the 2022 midterm election and suggested “we would know none of this” if Democrats maintained control of the House.

“This is rising to the level of impeachment inquiry,” McCarthy said, adding impeachment provided Congress the ability to obtain more information regarding Biden’s alleged corrupt business dealings. “This President has also used something we have not seen since Richard Nixon. Use the weaponization of government to benefit his family and deny Congress the ability to have the oversight.”

Host Hannity asked McCarthy if Biden is “compromised” by foreign countries and running a “criminal enterprise” while in office.

McCarthy questioned why the Biden family had not received money from other foreign nations including France, Germany, and the United Kingdom.

“Why does it have to be from China, Romania … these countries that have real challenges and had problems,” McCarthy said. “I believe we will follow this all the way to the end and this is gonna rise to an impeachment inquiry the way the Constitution tells us to do this.”

“We have to get the answers to these questions,” he added.

Several Republican House members have similarly called for Congress to seek impeachment of Biden following the revelation from one of the Biden families partners, Devon Archer, who alleged Hunter and his father were frequently on the phone with foreign business associates.

“House Republicans should initiate impeachment proceedings against President Biden,” Rep. Jim Banks told the New York Post.  “Joe Biden was trading his personal influence to enrich himself and his family and must be held accountable for selling out America.”

New York representative Claudia Tenney said President Biden “committed crimes in plain sight.”

“Yet the [Biden Department of Justice] is covering up for his corruption,” she continued. “It’s time for impeachment.”

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has maintained the President was not involved in son Hunter’s business dealings.

“The answer remains the same. The president was never in business with his son. I just don’t have anything else to add,” Jean-Pierre said during a press briefing per the Post.
