Elon Musk Responds to Footage of Twitter's Lead Client Partner Trashing Him for Position on Free Speech and His Asperger’s Syndrome

Elon Musk has responded to a second hidden camera video from Project Veritas, in which a Twitter executive mocks him for his Asperger Syndrome and support of free speech.

The footage is the second video released as part of the organization’s “Twitter Exposed” series.

In the video released by Project Veritas on Tuesday evening, Twitter’s Lead Client Partner Alex Martinez does not hide his disdain for the potential new owner of his company.

The Telsa CEO has been outspoken in his belief that Twitter should abide by free speech laws, as it has become a de facto town square. In the video, Martinez indicates that doing “good for the planet” is more important than letting users converse freely.

“The rest of us who have been here believe in something that’s good for the planet and not just to give people free speech,” Martinez tells the undercover journalist. “People don’t know how to make a rational decision if you don’t put out — correct things that are supposed to be out in the public, right?”

Martinez soon begins to express his frustration with Musk’s potential plans for the company.

“If we’re implementing all these rules…and Elon wants to dismantle them, then technically our ideology has led us to not making money because we’re not making money, and Elon wants to turn it the other way so that we can make money,” Martinez said.

The Twitter partner does not stick to disagreeing with Musk, he also takes aim at him for his Asperger syndrome, which the billionaire revealed when hosting Saturday Night Live last May.

“He has Asperger’s,” Martinez says at one point adding, “so, he’s special.” Martinez later says, “We all know that and that’s fine. So here, no one’s going to say some f-cking crazy shit because he’s special.”

Martinez took things even further by indicating that Musk shouldn’t be taken seriously because he has “special needs.”

“I’m like- you’re special needs! You’re literally special needs, literally though, you really are. So, I can’t even take what you’re saying seriously cause you’re special,” he says.

On Monday, Project Veritas released their first video of the series which featured Twitter Senior Engineer Siru Murugesan discussing how employees at the tech company “hate” Musk.

“Twitter does not believe in free speech… Elon believes in free speech,” Murugesan told the undercover journalist in the video.

The engineer added, “our jobs are at stake, he’s a capitalist and we weren’t really operating as capitalists, more like very socialist. Like we’re all like commie as f-ck.”

Musk responded to tweets with the videos from Newsmax host Benny Johnson shortly after Project Veritas released each video.

In a reply to the first release, Musk asked “is this legit?”

Responding to the first part of Tuesday’s release, Musk replied with simply a sad face emoji.

A bit later, Musk responded to another portion of the video, writing, “Twitter exec trashing free speech & mocking people with Asperger’s …”

Musk has made a $44 billion deal to purchase the social media giant, but has said the deal cannot move forward as planned until Twitter proves that bots make up less than five percent of users.
