Biden’s Vax Mandate on Private Businesses Starts Jan 4, $14,000 Penalty Per Violation

The Biden administration’s vaccine mandate on private businesses with 100 employees will begin on Jan. 4, with new guidelines imposing $14,000 penalties for each violation with no limit.

“The Jan. 4 deadline also will apply to two other Biden vaccine mandates impacting federal contractors and about 17 million health care workers, with certain medical and religious exemptions. There’s a Dec. 8 compliance deadline for people employed directly by the federal government,” reports the New York Post.

“A distinct minority of Americans supported by a distinct minority of elected officials are keeping us from turning the corner,” Biden said Sept. 9. “We’ve been patient, but our patience is wearing thin, and your refusal has cost all of us.”

The announcement comes as incoming Mayor of New York City Eric Adams vowed to “revisit” Bill de Blasio’s mandate for all public employees.

The regulations have caused chaos across the Big Apple, with thousands of fire fighters, police officers, EMTs, and other first responders going on medical leave or being placed on unpaid leave.

It’s unclear how the national mandate could impact other crises including supply chain problems, inflation, labor shortages, and more impediments to the national economic recovery.

Latest data from the Centers for Disease Control show 80% of American adults are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
