Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, leaders within the ranks of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) have been more deathly afraid of the virus than even the most ardent lockdown supporters across the globe.
The CCP under President Xi Jinping enacted the world’s harshest lockdown measures in a failed attempt to completely eliminate the virus through mass quarantines, mass testing, and travel restrictions for international travelers.
China’s “zero-Covid” policy resulted in entire blocks being quarantined, with authorities going so far as to barricade and weld people into their own homes if a single case was detected.
While most countries eased lockdown restrictions as early as April 2020, China has maintained iron-clad control over its population through Fall 2022 — nearly three years after the pandemic began.
Now we know why.
CCP leadership has taken extreme measures to guard against COVID-19 because many of them have received organ transplants through the country’s forced organ harvesting program, which requires them to take a drug that prevents the body from rejecting the organs. Those drugs work by obliterating the immune system, making severe complications and death from the coronavirus more likely, according to investigative reporter and China expert Josh Philipp.

Those drugs work by obliterating the immune system, making severe complications and death from the coronavirus more likely for them
“Chinese medicine is based very heavily on organ health. In fact, if you read Chinese medicine, a lot of it’s about different foods or medicines that treat specific organs,” Philipp explains. “They will talk about different illnesses as being basically imbalances within the different organs of the body. And so they’ll try to supplement those organs in different ways to bring harmony back to the body.”
He also noted that because of this, if a person experiences a normal illness, many will attribute sickness to specific organs that might be reacting to things. So, CCP leaders will undergo routine organ transplant surgeries in a bid to avoid illness and postpone death.
China has a well-documented history of forced organ harvesting, where undesirables (prisoners, practitioners of the spiritual meditation group Falun Gong, and Uygher Muslims) are killed and their organs provided to CCP leaders or sold on the black market.
An expert on China told congress in early 2022 that as many as 50,000 victims were killed each year for their organs.
“They don’t care about killing people. They don’t care about the consequences of that,” Philipp said. “The human suffering element means nothing to them.”
He continued:
Now why do organ transplants matter in the context of what we’re talking about with COVID-19? A very simple answer. If you get an organ transplant, your body will reject the organ unless you take a specific medication called an anti-rejection drug. What do anti-rejection drugs do? They suppress your immune system because it is your immune system that will reject the organ. They need to suppress the immune system. Shut down the immune system, basically. Right? And you’re basically dependent then on the medical industry.
For Chinese Communist party leaders, that’s not a big deal. They think health problems are related to organ health. If they contract a new illness, they’ll just get a new dang organ. Chinese medicine would suggest the cause, based on organs, of most modern diseases. You contract something, you’re gonna die from it, get a new organ — good as new. They don’t care about being immunocompromised, but they are terrified of things like this because again, they have no immune system.
Covid for them is like the black plague. It’s like the grim reaper knocking door to door. They are legitimately terrified of Covid. That is the reason why they have zero Covid. And that’s also the reason why, frankly, they’re dying right now — based on my analysis — why CCP leadership is dying right now. And many more will very likely die because, folks, they’re immunocompromised.
They’ve got no immune systems and they can’t keep the genie in the bottle anymore. The CCP model is failing before our eyes and maybe the CCP as well.
Following anger-fueled, anti-lockdown protests that spread throughout China during the fall of 2022, Chinese officials eased their country’s harsh restrictions, making a U-turn on their “zero-Covid” policies.
But, the abrupt return to normalcy came without adequate resources for China’s healthcare sector and policies in place to handle the predictable surge in illness.
Because of the CCP’s policies, China is now effectively enduring its “first wave,” which most countries faced in early 2020. A spike in Covid cases has erupted, along with reports of hospitals being flooded and long waits at crematoriums to incinerate what are said to be large numbers of victims who succumbed to the disease.
Additionally, as reported by The Epoch Times, numerous CCP officials have died since the end of China’s “zero-covid” policy, including:
- Zhou Zhichun, former deputy chief editor and vice president for the state-owned China Youth Daily
- Politician Zhu Zhihong, who once chaired the Jiangxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference
- 39-year-old Peking Opera actress Chu Lanlan
- Marxist economist Hu Jun
- Former National Sports Commission vice director Liu Ji
- The designer of the mascots from the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Wu Guanying
- Dozens of illustrious professors at two of China’s most prestigious academic institutions, Peking University and Tsinghua University
- Roughly a dozen leading health experts have also died, including Nan Dengkun, who is credited with having pioneered China’s medical rehabilitation industry, and top pharmaceutical scientist Wei Shuli.
The Epoch Times says that China is undercounting and downplaying the impact the virus is having on its population, and is turning “to its well-worn playbook of vastly understating COVID infection and death figures in a bid to tamp down the news that tarnishes the CCP’s image.”
