WATCH: 'Witness for Life' Advocates Clash with Abortion Rights Protestors Outside NYC Planned Parenthood

'Abortion...is a violent band-aid,' one demonstrator told Timcast

An anti-abortion protest organized by Archdiocese of New York’s Witness for Life group outside of a Planned Parenthood in the Bowery district in New York City was met with counterprotestors on Feb. 5.

Members of Witness for Life were referred to as “clinic harassers” by the counterprotestors who represented NYC for Abortion Rights.

“Clinic harassers are not welcome here (or anywhere),” stated a post on NYC for Abortion Rights’ Instagram page.

Elad Eliahu spoke with those in attendance about the efficacy of protesting outside of the clinic’s entryway, reactions to being called “clinic harassers,” and the controversial legacy of Planned Parenthood figurehead Margaret Sanger.
