WATCH: Timcast Catches Up with People’s Convoy Truckers and Supporters in Missouri

‘People are forgetting it’s our choice, not anybody else’s — not a government, not Trump, not Biden, not anybody,’ one woman said.

As the People’s Convoy 2022 rolled through Springfield, Missouri, en route to an overnight stop in Cuba, Timcast’s Elad Eliahu was on the scene to talk with truckers and local residents who turned up to cheer them on.

Hundreds of supporters gathered along the overpasses waving American flags and signs with messages like “Hold the Line for Freedom” and “Honk for Freedom.”

“Here in Missouri, we have so many patriots. Every bridge, every business, everywhere you went, people were coming out,” former Missouri governor Eric Greitens — who led the convoy 40 miles from St. Robert to Cuba, Missouri — told Timcast.

“They were flying the American flag, they brought out their signs — Honk for Freedom. And this is what freedom looks like. This is what it looks like when you have American citizens stand up and say no to tyranny,” he added.

Elad Eliahu spoke with truckers and supporters about the importance of ending the mandates, varying perceptions of Dr. Fauci’s guidance and Biden’s leadership, as well as contentious takes on the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election.
