Tulsi Gabbard Warns Michigan Has 'Infanticide' on the Ballot With Prop 3

Former congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard is warning Michigan voters that Prop 3 has “infanticide” on the ballot.

Gabbard was recently in Michigan campaigning with Republican gubernatorial candidate Tudor Dixon, who is hoping to replace Democrat Gov. Gretchen Whitmer on Tuesday.

In a video posted to social media, Gabbard discussed Prop 3, urging Michigan residents to vote against it.

“I urge Michigan residents to protect women, parental rights & children by voting against Proposal 3 that includes loopholes to allow late-term/partial birth abortion (which is really infanticide) & overturns law to inform parents of a child pursuing abortion/hormone therapies,” Gabbard wrote on Twitter.

In the video, Gabbard warned that it “amends the state Constitution … overturning a law that requires abortion facilities to be licensed and inspected for the health and safety of women.”

“I want to urge Michigan residents and voters to protect women, to protect parental rights, and protect our kids by voting against Proposal 3,” she stated.

Whitmer has fully endorsed Prop 3 and refused to name a single abortion restriction that she would support during her debate against Dixon.

“We know that regulations will still be in effect. The simple truth is the way to protect women and ensure that future generations have the same rights we’ve had for 49 years is by adopting Proposal 3, and I will be a yes vote,” Whitmer said.

Dixon was outspoken in her opposition to the proposal.

“It’s unfortunate that we’re not being honest about what Proposal 3 is,” Dixon said. “We know that Proposal 3 does remove parental consent. It also makes it so that you don’t have to be a doctor to perform an abortion, but it does align with her agenda. Her past — she’s voted against a ban on partial-birth abortion, and Proposal 3 allows abortion up to the moment of birth for any reason, including sex selection.”

Dixon added that it would be “the most radical abortion law in the entire country.”
