Former President Donald Trump said he would present an “irrefutable report” on presidential election fraud in Georgia next week.
Trump’s announcement follows a fourth indictment issued by Fani Willis in Fulton County, Georgia on Monday.
“A Large, Complex, Detailed but Irrefutable REPORT on the Presidential Election Fraud which took place in Georgia is almost complete & will be presented by me at a major News Conference at 11:00 A.M. on Monday of next week in Bedminster, New Jersey,” Trump wrote to Truth Social. “Based on the results of this CONCLUSIVE Report, all charges should be dropped against me & others – There will be a complete EXONERATION! They never went after those that Rigged the Election.”

Trump has been indicted over allegations of violating the Georgia Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). Eighteen others have been charged along with the former President over the RICO Act and other alleged acts to conspire in regards to the 2020 Presidential Election.
Every individual charged, including Trump, is charged with one count of violating the RICO Act in Fulton County and elsewhere “to accomplish the illegal goal of allowing Donald J Trump to seize the presidential term of office, beginning on January, 2021,” said Willis during a Monday night press conference following the issued indictment.
“I remind everyone here that an indictment is only a series of allegations based on a grand jury’s determination of probable cause to support the charges,” she concluded. “It is now the duty of my office to prove these charges in the indictment beyond a reasonable doubt at trial.”
Defendants have been given the opportunity to voluntarily surrender no later than noon on Aug. 25, the Fulton County DA said. All 19 defendants will be tried together.
Willis was asked to comment on the indictment’s initial leak, originally obtained by Reuters, and retraction shortly after Monday afternoon, though the DA declined to comment.
“No, I can’t tell you anything about what you refer to,” she said. “What I can tell you is that we had a grand jury here in Fulton County, they deliberated till almost 8:00, if not right after 8:00, an indictment was returned.”
“It was true build and we now have an indictment. I am not an expert on clerks, duties, or even administrative duties,” she continued. “I wouldn’t know how to work that system. And so I’m not going to speculate.”
Trump responded to the indictment in a Truth Social post referring to it as a “witch hunt.”
“Nineteen people Indicated tonight, including the former President of the United States, me, by an out of control and very corrupt District Attorney who campaigned and raised money on, ‘I will get Trump,'” the former President wrote.
Trump commented on the indictment’s leak and swift retraction saying, “sounds rigged to me!”
“Why didn’t they Indict 2.5 years ago? Because they wanted to do it right in the middle of my political campaign.”
The former President’s legal team responded to the retracted document released by Reuters Monday afternoon.
“The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office has once again shown that they have no respect for the integrity of the grand jury process,” the statement from attorneys Drew Findling and Jennifer Little reads, suggesting confusion surrounding the document wasn’t a “simple administrative mistake.”
“A proposed indictment should only be in the hands of the District Attorney’s Office, yet it somehow made its way to the clerk’s office and was assigned a case number and a judge before the grand jury even deliberated,” the statement continued. “This is emblematic of the pervasive and glaring constitutional violations which have plagued this case from its very inception.”
