Trump Praises Georgia State Senator For Requesting Emergency Session To Investigate DA Willis

‘Colton Moore Deserves The Thanks And Congratulations Of Everyone For Having The Courage And Conviction To Fight The Radical Left Lunatics’

Former President Trump praised Georgia State Senator Colton Moore after he sent a letter last week to governor Brian Kemp requesting an emergency session of the Georgia State Legislature to review Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

Moore’s letter followed Trump’s indictment in the state by Willis regarding his questioning of the 2020 presidential election.

“Highly respected Georgia State Senator Colton Moore deserves the thanks and congratulations of everyone for having the courage and conviction to fight the Radical Left Lunatics who are so badly hurting the Great State of Georgia, and the USA itself,” Trump wrote. “Failed D.A. Fani Willis, who has allowed Atlanta (Fulton County) to become a record setting Murder and Violent Crime War Zone, with almost no retribution, shockingly indicted your favorite President, me, for a PERFECT PHONE CALL.”

Trump concluded that Willis is “bad for America!”

“The American people deserve answers,” Moore wrote to X. “That’s why I took the first step to call an emergency session to investigate the corrupt DA Fani Willis for targeting Donald Trump.”

The Georgia senator said he needed three-fifths of the Georgia House and Senate to sign onto his letter.

In another post, he told supporters they could sign a petition, along with contacting their Georgia State senator or representative and demand they sign his letter.

Moore tagged fellow state lawmakers who had not signed his letter and publicly asked Georgians to reach out to the lawmakers and encourage them to sign.

“America is under attack,” Moore wrote on X. “I’m not going to sit back and watch as radical left prosecutors politically TARGET political opponents.”

The brief letter reads:

We, the undersigned, being duly elected members of the Georgia House of Representatives and Georgia Senate, and comprising 3/5 of each respective house, pursuant to Article IV, Section II, Paragraph VII(b), hereby certify to you, in writing, with a copy to the Secretary of State, that in our opinion an emergency exists in the affairs of the state, requiring a special session to be convened under that section, for all purposes, to include, without limitation, the review and response to the actions of Fani Willis.

The former president has been indicted over allegations of violating the Georgia Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). Eighteen others have been charged along with the former President over the RICO Act and other alleged acts to conspire in regards to the 2020 presidential election.
