On Wednesday, Caitlyn Jenner denounced TikTok influencer Dylan Mulvaney, who identifies as a transgender woman.
Jenner responded to Republican Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn’s tweet highlighting a May. 24 video shared by Mulvaney. The video features the influencer discussing the visual presence of his “bulge” while wearing clothes designed for biological females. Blackburn suggested Joe Biden and “radical left-wing lunatics” were attempting to normalize Mulvaney’s behavior. Jenner responded to Blackburn’s tweet saying, “[Marsha Blackburn], thank you for speaking out and having a backbone – one of the best senators we have.”
“Let’s not ‘normalize’ any of what this person is doing,” Jenner wrote. “This is absurdity!”

Some users responded by noting the hypocrisy of Jenner, who was born male and was previously known as Bruce, who has identified as a transgender woman since 2015.
“He is talking about his penis!” Jenner said in response to one critic who referred to his comment as “hateful.”
The video in question features Mulvaney noting people “staring at [his] crotch” while shopping in public. The influencer said his groin “doesn’t look like other women’s crotches.” Mulvaney appeared to point out the sexually dimorphic difference between men and women by referring to the female groin as “a little Barbie pocket.”
The influencer discussed his options of either wearing looser fitting women’s clothing to prevent highlighting his male groin or engaging in an act referred to as “tucking” which involves “hiding” a male’s genitals to give the appearance of a female groin. Mulvaney decided against the two options, announcing he would “normalize” the appearance of his male groin in women’s clothing — referring to it as a “bulge.”
“We all just normalize women having bulges sometimes,” said Mulvaney referencing the male groin. “‘Cause we’re coming up on bikini season, baby. You might see a bulge or two.”
Mulvaney began singing: “Normalize the bulge. We are normalizing the bulge. Women can have bulges and that’s okay. We’re not gonna stare at their crotches while they’re wearing their little shopping shorts at the mall.”

“The democrat party in a nutshell. In a country of aprox 350,000,000 people, a middle aged biological male who transitioned to female about a year ago is the person chosen to go to the Oval Office to talk with the President about being a girl,” said Donald Trump Jr., referencing Mulvaney’s Sunday appearance on Now This News’ with President Biden at the White House discussing transgender ideology. “That’s who they think is the best fit.”
“Sounds about right! We need a dose of sanity back! (Begging just for a dose at this point lol) good lord help us!” Jenner said in response to Trump Jr.
Mulvaney appeared on an Oct. 13 episode of fashion brand Ulta Beauty’s podcast The Beauty of… hosted by “beauty expert” and celebrity hairstylist David Lopez discussing the influencer’s experience “transitioning” into a woman. The two discussed Mulvaney’s TikTok series “100 days of girlhood” following the influencer as he documents his life identifying as a girl. The series has continued past Mulvaney’s initial 100 days with “day 222” as the most recent video in the series where Mulvaney announced his upcoming appearance at the White House.
