P!nk Confirms She Does Not Fly Israeli Flags At Concerts, Will Fly Pride Flags

'I Believe In Peace. Equality. Love. I Am Deeply Saddened By The State Of The World"

Pop artist Alecia Beth Moore, who performs under the stage name P!nk, said she will not fly a flag at any of her shows in support of “anything or anyone” except the LGBT Pride flag.

After speculation that the pop star was flying the Israeili flag at her shows, P!nk shared a post to X clarifying confusion from fans.

“This post will be controversial for some,” P!nk wrote. “At this point, breathing is controversial. I am getting many threats because people mistakenly believe I am flying Israeli flags in my show.”

P!nk confirmed she was not flying the flag of Israel at her shows and was instead flying Poi flags which feature a similar blue and white color scheme to the Israeli flag.

“I have been using Poi flags since the beginning of this tour,” she continued. “These were used many, many years ago by the Māori people in New Zealand and because they and the Māori people are beautiful to me, we use them.”

“I do not fly flags in my show in support of anything or anyone except the rainbow flag,” P!nk said. “That will remain my position.”

“I am a human. I believe in peace. Equality. Love. I am deeply saddened by the state of the world. I pray for all of us,” Moore concluded.

Although P!nk has remained relatively silent amid the attack of Islamic militant group Hamas on Israel earlier this month, the pop star has made previous politically charged statements regarding Jewish history through her music.

Last year, the pop star released “Irrelevant” in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

The music video features images of historical civil rights leaders and events juxtaposed with images of pro-abortion activists demonstrating outside the Supreme Court.

“As long as you feel afraid / That’s what it’s about,” she sings as images of conservative Supreme Court justices being sworn in are juxtaposed with images of Adolf Hitler, Nazi Germany, and the Ku Klux Klan.

“Sticks and stones and all that s— / Does Jesus love the ignorant?/I like to think he’d gladly take us all,” the song continues as P!nk declares: “Girls just wanna have rights/So, why do we have to fight.”
