House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is set to appear on another season of Rupaul’s “Drag Race All Stars,” according to Paramount+, making her second appearance in the cross-dressing reality show.
During Friday’s season finale of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” fans got an extended first look at the upcoming season of “All Stars.” The trailer revealed some of the season’s celebrity guests, including supermodel Naomi Campbell, Cameron Diaz, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and journalist Ronan Farrow.
This latest appearance will be the second for Pelosi on the drag show, with her first appearance being in 2018.
“This idea of people believing in themselves, being themselves, taking pride in themselves, is not just a lesson for politicians but for everyone in the country. And that’s why I was so excited and couldn’t resist being on the show,” Pelosi told The Hollywood Reporter at the time.
At the time, Pelosi tweeted about her cameo on the show in 2018, writing, “All I can say is, you betta werk! Had a fabulous time with @RuPaul and good luck to all the queens.”

In 2018, a spokesperson for Pelosi told The Washington Post that the House Speaker agreed to judge the show in support of the LGBT community amid alleged anti-LGBT policies being pushed by the Trump administration.
With the current administration’s outspoken support of transgender rights, Pelosi is revising her role to make a similar statement.
In March, the Biden administration released a series of documents supporting gender-reassignment surgery and hormone treatments for minors, part of a focus on the International Transgender Day of Visibility.
The White House released a fact sheet detailing its support of multiple transgender initiatives. Among them was a change in the Department of Homeland Security, allowing individuals to select “X” as their sex for items such as passport applications.
