NYC 'Drag March' Participants Chant 'We're Coming for Your Children' (VIDEO)

A video taken by Timcast News reporter Elad Eliahu has gone massively viral after he captured marchers at New York City’s annual drag queen parade chanting, “We’re here, we’re queer, we’re coming for your children.”

The event kicked off New York City’s Pride Weekend festivities on Friday, on the anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall Riots.

Some crowd members were chanting, “We’re here, we’re queer, we’re not going shopping,” but many others could clearly be heard saying, “coming for your children” instead.

“Some leaders of the Drag march had just finished rallying in Tompkins Square Park and were organizing to march out,” Eliahu reported. “I was walking through the crowd looking at different costumes, signs, chants, when I heard at least a few people in the crowd chanting, ‘We’re coming for your children.’”

“I immediately pan over, looking towards where I heard the chants, and continued recording as they passed,” he said.

The video, viewed nearly five million times from the original Twitter post alone, also drew responses from lawmakers, including Reps. Lauren Boebert and Marjorie Taylor Greene.

“‘We’re here we’re queer and we’re coming for your children!’ This movement grooms minors to have mastectomies and castration and fuels a multi billion dollar medical child abuse industry. Pass the Protect Children’s Innocence Act. Let kids be kids,” Greene tweeted referencing her legislation that would ban sex changes for minors.

Rep. Boebert wrote, “When people march down the streets yelling out that they’re going to come for my children, I’m inclined to believe them.”

“Now, don’t get mad when we refer to you and anyone who doesn’t denounce this garbage as ‘groomers,'” the Colorado congresswoman added along with a link to Breitbart’s coverage of the Timcast video.

Sue Doster, co-chairperson of NYC Pride, responded to the video by telling the Daily Mail that “they’re attacking these people because they’re less likely to stand up and fight back, which is why it’s important that we all come together in solidarity and speak up when we see these injustices.”
