A South African journalist will no longer be invited on Newsmax after controversial comments made about global elites.
Lara Logan was invited on “The Balance” with Eric Boiling on Oct. 19 to discuss why influential world figures favor left-leaning political policies. The discussion prompted Logan to mention her religious worldviews.
“I am a firm and solid and immovable believer in God,” Logan said. “And I believe that God wins. I believe that good is greater than evil. And I believe that the fallen angel – otherwise known as Satan – doesn’t get to prevail in this world… And if you fight for God, God will fight for you.”
Boiling turned the discussion to the US-Mexico border and the rising number of illegal border crossings into America.
“I have to ask you this because my audience is very God-fearing, God-loving, et cetera,” he said. “Is God OK with a closed border?”
“It’s much bigger than that. God believes in sovereignty, and national identity, and the sanctity of family, and all the things that we’ve lived with from the beginning of time,” Logan told the show’s host. “And he knows that the open border is Satan’s way of taking control of the world through all of these people who are his stooges and his servants.”
Logan said that Yuval Noah Harari and “all the rest of them at the World Economic Forum… want us eating insects, cockroaches, and that while they dine on the blood of children,” per Mediaite.

According to The Orange County Register, “the statement echoes the antisemitic ‘blood libel’ myth that has become a pillar of the QAnon canon — the claim that a satanic cabal of pedophiles who drink the blood of children is secretly running the world.”
Newmax subsequently told the Daily Beast that the network has “no plans to interview her again.”
“Newsmax condemns in the strongest terms the reprehensible statements made by Lara Logan and her views do not reflect our network,” Newsmax said in a statement on Oct. 20.
“Logan rose to become chief foreign affairs correspondent at the Tiffany Network. But her stint was marred by trauma after she was sexually assaulted by a violent mob while covering the 2011 political upheaval in Egypt,” reports The New York Post.
The 51-year-old previously worked as a CBS News reporter for 15 years until 2019. She then hosted “Lara Logan Has No Agenda” on Fox Nation. The network later cut ties with Logan after she said Dr. Anthony Fauci “represents Josef Mengele, the Nazi doctor who did experiments on Jews during the Second World War and in the concentration camps” to people she had spoken to during an appearance on “Fox News Primetime” last year.
