Comedian Roseanne Barr, who is Jewish, responded to criticism of a Holocaust joke she made earlier this month.
Barr responded to the controversy during the third episode of her recently-launched show, The Roseanne Barr Podcast.
“I’m in trouble again with satanists,” she opened the episode before detailing the joke she made during a June 14 episode of fellow comedian Theo Von’s podcast, This Past Weekend With Theo Von. The June 14 episode of Von’s show has since been removed from YouTube for violating the platform’s policy on “hate speech.”
“Yes, Biden definitely got 81 million votes by winning 36 counties,” Barr said, adding YouTube was “right” to censor the show for questioning the election. “And no Jews died in the Holocaust either.”
Producer Jake Pentland, Barr’s son, said it was a “good joke” to which Barr said she had received positive feedback.
“They actually believed that I was telling the truth about Biden getting 81 jokes, so they cut that out,” the comedian said. “I think they actually believe he got 81 million votes because they believe there’s 81 million living in 36 counties.”
Pentland noted critics of Barr believed she’s a Holocaust denier saying, “These are the stupidest f—ing people that we’ve ever dealt with as a country or as a people.”
“Every time they’ve cancelled you,” Pentland said noting previous backlash from Barr’s statements from either side of the political spectrum, “you’ve never really been able to explain yourself.”
“There’s no freedom of speech in America, and there hasn’t been for a very, very long time,” Barr responded as Pentland said critics took her jokes out of context without allowing the comedian to explain the joke.
Barr noted comedy pioneer Lenny Bruce was treated the same way.
“I’m really pissed that they removed the premise,” Barr said of her edited comments from Von’s show. “How f—in’ dirty is that.”

“I have to say, the people who are coming after me and saying I denied the Holocaust when everybody who knows anything about me … I was raised in an apartment building with Holocaust survivors,” she said. “Of course I don’t believe that the Holocaust never happened.”
Barr noted her own Jewish faith saying, “Why don’t you go f— yourself?”
“We are under such heavy satanic mind control in this country,” she said, adding that she wanted to introduce God into the conversation. “Everything they do is stupid. Everything they say is stupid. … They’re just hysterical satanists.”
“God wins, see ya, f—ers.”
During Barr’s podcast with Von, the comedian said the 2020 presidential election wasn’t rigged by sarcastically joking, “36 counties have 81 million people in them.”
“That’s the truth, and don’t you dare say anything against it or you’ll be off YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and all the other ones because there’s such a thing as the truth and facts, and we have to stick to it.”
Von agreed with Barr’s sarcasm saying it was “scary.”
“And nobody died in the Holocaust either,” she said. “It should happen. Six-million Jews should die right now cause they cause all the problems in the world.”
Von laughed at Barr’s comment as she insisted the Holocaust never happened.
