Fired Ukrainian Prosecutor Viktor Shokin Says He Believes Joe and Hunter Biden Were Bribed to Have Him Ousted (VIDEO)

"Joe Biden gave away $1 billion in US money in exchange for my dismissal, my firing, isn’t that alone a case of corruption?"

During an interview released over the weekend, former Ukrainian prosecutor general Viktor Shokin said that he believes Joe and Hunter Biden were given bribes to force him out of office in 2016.

Shokin discussed the situation in an interview with Fox News host Brian Kilmeade that aired on Saturday.

“I do not want to deal in unproven facts, but my firm personal conviction is that, yes, this was the case. They were being bribed,” Shokin said.

“And the fact that Joe Biden gave away $1 billion in US money in exchange for my dismissal, my firing, isn’t that alone a case of corruption?” added Kyiv’s former top prosecutor.

Shokin was fired in March 2016 after the then-Vice President pressured the government to remove him.

The firing came as Shokin’s office was investigating Mykola Zlochevsky, the owner of natural gas company Burisma Holdings, which paid Hunter Biden approximately a million dollars a year to sit on its board.

Joe Biden publicly bragged about threatening to withhold $1 billion in loan guarantees unless the Ukrainian Parliament fired Shokin while speaking at a Council on Foreign Relations event in 2018.

“I looked at them and said, ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money,’” Biden said. “Well, son of a bitch. He got fired.”

Zlochevsky claimed in 2016, according to an FBI informant file released in July, that he was “coerced” into paying $5 million to both Joe and Hunter Biden.
