Former Fox News Producer Amy Grossberg, who claimed she was bullied and subjected to antisemitic comments while working for former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, reportedly never met the host.
Last month, Grossberg filed a lawsuit against Carlson along with Fox News and parent company Fox Corp alleging the outlet fostered a “toxic workplace.”
One former Fox News employee countered Grossberg’s claims by noting the former producer never met Carlson. Grossberg reportedly worked out of Fox News’ New York City office while the former host worked from his home studios in Maine and Florida, according to journalist Greg Price.
Grossberg was also reportedly a “severely underperforming employee and not competent with her work,” according to Price’s source who further claimed the former producer began complaining about her experience with Carlson and Fox after learning she may be fired for her negative performance reviews.
“She set out to be a victim,” the person said.

“Fox could not find a single employee willing to corroborate any of her claims or characterizations,” said one source involved in the investigation, per Price.
“Truth remains fugitive while female workers are verbally violated … by a poisonous and entrenched patriarchy,” reads Grossberg’s lawsuit.
“There was an aspect of ‘I can pick who the Speaker is. I can pick who the president of the United States is, pick who the Republican candidate is going to be.’ I thought that was very dangerous and didn’t want that kind of power,” Grossberg said of her experience working with Carlson during an appearance on MSNBC. “I didn’t want to have senate candidates calling me and being very upset — ‘Are you gonna destroy our whole campaign tonight?’ — because he could do that.”
“He would call and tell them that if they don’t come on the show, we will destroy you.”
Grossberg further said she was “depressed and disillusioned” with news media because of her experience working with Carlson.
Carlson’s departure was allegedly related to Grossberg’s discrimination lawsuit, though other reports suggested the former host’s ousting was related to his coverage of the January 6 Capitol riot, which Fox News founder Rupert Murdoch became “concerned” over.
During one of Carlson’s reports on the Capitol riot, the former host noted Ray Epps, who was present at the Capitol on Jan. 6 2021, may be a government informant.
Epps has since claimed he has received death threats following Carlson’s reporting. The FBI reportedly told 60 Minutes Epps has never worked for the agency, per the Los Angeles Times.
Justin Wells, Carlson’s executive producer, has also been let go though Fox News representatives did not comment further.
