First Lady of Florida Casey DeSantis teased Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ presidential campaign announcement in a series of social media posts.
Casey shared a video featuring the Florida Governor standing backstage behind a U.S. flag.
“They call it faith because in the face of darkness you can see that brighter future,” a narrator says as the Florida Governor approaches the flag. “A faith that our best days lay ahead of us.”
“But is it worth the fight? Do I have the courage?” the narrator continued as DeSantis fixes his suit jacket and walks off camera. “Is it worth the sacrifice? America has been worth it. Every single time.”
“America is worth the fight… Every. Single. Time,” Casey wrote on Twitter Tuesday evening.

In a separate Twitter post, Florida’s First Lady retweeted a Fox News article suggesting the Florida Governor was poised to announce his candidacy for the 2024 Presidential Election on Wednesday.

The Florida Governor has been highly speculated to enter the 2024 presidential race under the Republican platform.
In late April, reports emerged suggesting the Florida Governor was gearing up for a mid-May announcement.
“There has been an influx of national firms in town over the last few days,” said one of the Florida GOP operatives familiar with the meetings. “It feels like a team that is staffing up, not scaling down.”
A second GOP operative said DeSantis’ meetings signal a likely presidential launch sooner than expected, the outlet reported.
“Large campaigns require in-house planning, and this has been ‘vendors: assemble’ week in Tallahassee,” said a third source familiar with the meetings.
Former President Trump, who announced his re-election campaign late last year, has released a series of attacks suggesting DeSantis’ success in the Sunshine State is due to Trump’s stumping for the Florida Governor during his 2018 gubernatorial campaign.
DeSantis is expected to file paperwork with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and officially announce his 2024 campaign tomorrow at 6 p.m. EST in a Twitter Space conversation with Twitter owner Elon Musk.
