Biden Campaign Dropping $25 Million in Massive Battleground State Ad Blitz

President Joe Biden’s reelection campaign is dropping $25 million in a four-month-long battle state advertising blitz.

The ads will run in Arizona, Michigan, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. They will also be targeting Hispanic voters in Florida.

The ad buy includes big spending on the National Football League opening weekend and during the World Series. It will also be featured on social media platforms including YouTube and Instagram.

“The buy includes both the largest and earliest media buy for a reelection campaign into constituency media ever, as well as the largest overall buy for a reelection campaign at this point in time ever, ensuring that President Biden’s message is heard throughout this year’s Republican primary,” the campaign said in a statement obtained by The Hill.

This massive advertising effort marks the third since Biden announced his intent to run for a second term.

The first video released from the series is titled “Fight Back.”

“It was the worst pandemic. The worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. But America fought back,” a narrator says. “Joe Biden passed historic laws to rebuild the country, but he knows that it’s the American people who are the heroes of this story.”

The ad lists off investments that the government has made under the Biden administration in “small towns and big cities,” citing manufacturing industries, computer chips, and clean energy technologies.

“Today, unemployment is at record lows. Our economy, leading the world,” the narration continues. “Joe Biden passed historic laws to rebuild the country, but he knows it’s the American people who are the heroes of this story.”

The video also takes a swing at former President Donald Trump, who is leading the Republican primary contest by a large margin.

“There are some who say America is failing, not Joe Biden,” the narrator says over a video of Trump. “He believes our best days are ahead, because he believes in the American people.”

The campaign said the commercial contrasts “Biden’s optimistic vision of America, and MAGA Republicans’ dark and divisive picture of our nation.”

“As Republicans head to the debate stage next week to put on display their extreme and out-of-touch positions, we are investing in reaching Americans across the country with President Biden and Vice President Harris’ message for the middle class and for Americans’ fundamental freedoms,” said Julie Chavez Rodriguez, Biden’s campaign manager, in a statement obtained by Spectrum News. “While Republicans duke it out in Milwaukee over their divisive and unpopular agenda, President Biden is amplifying his winning message and leadership as a president for all Americans.”
