Basketball player Brevin Galloway said his testicles “exploded” after a nap in a social media post.
The Clemson University guard shared a video of himself in a hospital bed explaining the incident in an Instagram story.
“So this morning I went to lift. I came back, I took a nap. I woke up from my nap [and] my balls and my nutsack were exploded,” Galloway said as a woman off screen chuckles. “I go to the doctor. I have surgery three hours later, [and] my balls are reduced to their normal size.”
“I don’t know what happened to my balls,” he said joking, “I guess they were trying to be like basketballs.”
From Instagram, it sounds like Brevin Galloway will miss at least the next two games for Clemson, for uhhh, a medical reason. I’ll let him explain.

“But we made it,” Galloway continued as the offscreen woman offered him a sip from a cup. “Now I’m going to be spoiled for the next 48 hours, and I will be back in a uniform shortly.”
Clemson coach Brad Brownell reportedly said “no comment” about Galloway’s Instagram post.
“Idk what happened today but it was the worst pain I’ve ever experienced,” Galloway wrote in a late Thursday tweet.
“We good though.”

“I think I know how females feel on their period now,” Galloway continued in a separate story post.
“Real, authentic [and] genuine. What you see is what you get,” he continued.
The basketball player shared another Instagram story appearing to describe the medical condition he experienced detailed by the Mayo Clinic.
“Testicular torsion occurs when a testicle rotates, twisting the spermatic cord that brings blood to the scrotum. The reduced blood flow causes sudden and often severe pain and swelling,” the text read. “Testicular torsion usually requires emergency surgery. If treated quickly, the testicle can usually be saved. But when blood flow has been cut off for too long, a testicle might become so badly damaged that it has to be removed.”
“Just [because] I’m actually finding out how serious it actually is,” Galloway wrote. “Pain 10/10. Couldn’t breathe without pain.”
“Today was wild… but that’s why you gotta cherish s—,” he continued. “Try to find happiness in rough situations, life is too short to be worried about something you can’t control!”
“I spent so many days with a miserable, pathetic mindset when s— ain’t go my way [and] I refuse to do it again. This s— ain’t promised… Anything can be gone in a second! Grateful that’s all it was.”
Symptoms of testicular torsion include:
