Georgia representative Marjorie Taylor Greene introduced articles of impeachment against President Joe Biden.
“It is with the highest amount of solemnity that I announce my intention to introduce articles of impeachment today on the head of this America-last Executive Branch that has been working since January 20th, 2021, to systematically destroy this country: the President of the United States, Joseph Robinette Biden,” Greene said at a Thursday press conference.
The Georgia representative charged President Biden with refusing to enforce immigration laws and neglecting border security along with allowing approximately six million illegal border crossings stemming from over 170 countries.
Greene further asserted Biden has deprived border patrol of “necessary resources and policies sufficient” to ensure national security.

“His administration has willfully refused to maintain operational control as is required by law,” Greene charged. “He has allowed fentanyl … to overwhelmingly flood into our country.”
Green cited fentanyl deaths of about 300 Americans per day.
“These aren’t just Americans, these are people’s family members,” Greene added. “These are American families.”
“His administration has lost complete contact with approximately 85,000 unaccompanied illegal alien children,” she continued, adding Biden’s policies have forced tens of thousands of children into slave labor. “Where are these kids?”
The Georgia representative also cited Biden’s reintroduction of “catch and release” policies, which she said “allowed illegals to flood our country” and communities.
“He endangered the lives of Americans by allowing illegal aliens who have tested positive for COVID-19 to enter our country and infect American citizens yet while enforcing strict COVID policies on American citizens,” Greene said, further criticizing Biden’s rhetoric and policies on the country’s southern border. “Biden has blatantly violated his Constitutional duty, and he is a direct threat to our national security.”
“Therefore, Joseph Robinette Biden is unfit to serve as the President of the United States and must be impeached.”
The text of Greene’s impeachment articles has not been released as of Thursday afternoon.
“Is there a bigger example of a shameless sideshow political stunt than a trolling impeachment attack by one of the most extreme MAGA members in Congress over ‘national security’ while she actively demands to defund the FBI and even said she ‘would’ve been armed’ and ‘would have won’ the January 6 insurrection if only she’d been in charge of it?” White House spokesman Ian Sams said in a statement per Fox News.
“The president is focused on what’s important to the American people, like preventing House Republicans’ default that would crash the economy and protecting investments that are creating American manufacturing jobs, not silly political attacks.”
