A Pro-Abortion Group is Planning to Disrupt Catholic Churches on Sunday and Published Home Addresses of Supreme Court Justices

A pro-abortion organization has announced plans to disrupt Catholic churches on Sunday and stage protests at the homes of conservative Supreme Court justices.

On Thursday, the organization Ruth Sent Us published a map to the homes of Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Amy Coney Barrett, Brett Kavanaugh, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, and Samuel Alito.

“Our 6-3 extremist Supreme Court routinely issues rulings that hurt women, racial minorities, LGBTQ+ and immigrant rights. We must rise up to force accountability using a diversity of tactics,” the organization’s website states.

Ruth Sent Us said that they are holding “walk by” protests on May 11 “at the homes of the six extremist justices, three in Virginia and three in Maryland.”

The website also advertises that they are looking for “a muralist or chalk artist.”

“Are you a graphic designer who would like to contribute remotely? Large-scale art will be included in the protests against the Supreme Court. Stipends available,” the website says.

On Twitter, the organization called on people to disrupt churches on Sunday.

“Whether you’re a ‘Catholic for Choice’, ex-Catholic, of other or no faith, recognize that six extremist Catholics set out to overturn Roe. Stand at or in a local Catholic Church Sun May 8,” the group urged, adding the hashtags “#WarOnWomen” and “#MothersDayStrike.”

The Washington Examiner reports, “It’s not clear who is in charge of Ruth Sent Us or how the group is funded. The map displayed on its website contains a link to another activist group, Vigil for Democracy. And a link at the bottom of the group’s website is for an organizing page run by Strike For Choice, yet another activist group.”

“Strike For Choice boasts endorsements from 11 activist groups, the most prominent being Code Pink, a left-wing activist group that has received funding from major Democratic groups such as the Tides Foundation,” the report added.

The protests are in response to a draft opinion showing that the Supreme Court voted to overturn Roe v. Wade, which was leaked to Politico.

“We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled,” Justice Samuel Alito wrote in the document labeled, “Opinion of the Court.” “It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.”

Roe v. Wade remains in place until the opinion is signed. Votes and drafts may change up until that point.

If it is overturned, laws regarding abortion will be left for individual states to decide.

According to Politico, “the three Democratic-appointed justices – Stephen Breyer, Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan – are working on one or more dissents,” it added that “How Chief Justice John Roberts will ultimately vote, and whether he will join an already written opinion or draft his own, is unclear.”

Thomas, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barrett voted with Alito — per the report.
