During a Wednesday night appearance on MSNBC’s The ReidOut hosted by Joy Reid, a Democratic National Committee (DNC) advisor suggested Colorado House representative Lauren Boebert open an OnlyFans account amid her potential loss following Tuesday’s Midterm election.
DNC advisor Kurt Bardella, a former Republican and former senior advisor to the Lincoln Project, was asked to comment on Boebert’s future following her speculative loss to Democratic opponent Adam Frisch.
“What’s the meaning if Lauren Boebert, the second most popular QAnon congressperson in MAGA — what if she loses? And what job would she have? I don’t think Shooters exists anymore,” Reid asked, making finger-guns and saying “pew pew” in reference to Boebert’s restaurant Shooters Grill in Rifle, Colorado.
“I guess it might be a gain for OnlyFans,” Bardella responded, prompting Reid to burst into laughter.

Former Democrat Senator and MSNBC contributor Claire McCaskill, who was present during the segment, opened her mouth in shock of Bardella’s remark.
“I don’t know what she would do in this scenario,” Bardella continued. “But symbolically, to take out one of the poster childs of the MAGA movement, someone who has been an absolute disgrace to the office that she holds, would be a great feather in the cap and would, I think, cement the fact that this has been an absolute unmitigated disaster for the MAGA wing of the Republican Party.”
Bardella’s comment echoed frequent MSNBC guest and justice correspondent for the Nation’s Elie Mystal’s Wednesday comment on Boebert’s speculative loss.
“Is … Lauren Boebert still losing? I guess this is the lucky day of the next OnlyFans star Ted Cruz thinks should be a Congressperson,” said Mystal in a now-deleted tweet.
“So misogyny is ok, as long as it’s exclusively directed towards conservative women?” PragerU’s CJ Pearson asked commenting on the segment.
“Oh fun, misogyny!” said radio host and author Dana Loesch.
“Liberals even suck at feminism,” said Boebert in response to Bardella’s comment. “Can y’all do anything right?”

OnlyFans advertises itself as a social platform revolutionizing creator and fan connections allowing users to monetize content while “developing authentic relationships” with their fanbase. The platform gained notoriety for attracting users providing adult content available for purchase through subscriptions.
Shooters Grill was a firearm-themed restaurant featuring waitresses wearing guns holstered to their hips. The restaurant closed in July after the building’s landlord chose to not renew the lease.
“Never in our wildest dreams did we believe that the small restaurant we opened would be a national and international symbol for the Second Amendment. … Shooters Grill has closed its doors after receiving a notice that our landlord would not be renewing our lease,” Boebert and her husband Jayson announced in a tweet. “The Shooters brand isn’t going away. There are exciting things in the works.”
