A member of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a group of drag performers who mockingly wear Catholic nun costumes, was arrested for indecent exposure in California last month.
Clinton Monroe Ellis-Gilmore, an active member in the Eureka chapter of Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, was arrested at Table Bluff County Park in Loleta, California on Aug. 12. Sheriffs were informed of a male “exposing himself in the driver’s seat of a parked vehicle” in broad daylight, according to report from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s department obtained by The Daily Wire.
The Sheriff’s report indicated Ellis-Gilmore’s conduct did not appear to be directed at anyone in particular.

Ellis-Gilmore, who goes by “Novice Sister Bethe Cockhim,” & “Novice Sister Man Romeo” in the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, was shirtless at the time of his arrest, according to his mugshot obtained by the outlet.

Ellis-Gilmore reportedly made no attempt to hide his public indecency as he left his left leg outside his open car door with his right leg on the dashboard while wearing no pants, according to witness Randy Fleek who saw Ellis-Gilmore “playing with himself.”.
Fleek said what he saw was “f—ed up.”
“It’s obvious. You cannot help but see this guy, he’s not hiding it,” the witness said, adding Ellis-Gilmore was partially clothed at first, though was fully nude by the time authorities arrived.
Fleek said Ellis-Gilmore “wants everyone to see what he’s doing,” noting the alleged public masturbator appeared pleased when sheriffs arrived and got him dressed.
“There’s something wrong with that man. He’s got a weird f—ing desire to show off to the public, to anybody that wants to look at him,” Fleek said, adding cars with young women had passed by throughout the hour he witnessed Ellis-Gilmore’s act. “He puts himself in a position and in a spot that you can’t help but look at the son of a b—-.”
“People pull in to see the ocean,” Fleek said of the “popular” location. “They don’t pull in to see this. But you can’t help but see.”
Ellis-Gilmore has a history of sharing sexually suggestive and questionable posts to social media.
According to a 2018 Facebook post to the Eureka Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence shared by a user named “NoviceSister Bethe Cockhim,” which appears to be run by Ellis-Gilmore, the alleged public masturbator is seen wearing blonde braids, a dress, and fishnet tights next to a man wearing a mock-nun drag outfit while reading to children at Peninsula Union in Humboldt County, which is close to where Ellis-Gilmore was arrested last month.
“Yesterday sisters had the most magical time reading story books to the Peninsula elementary school kids in recognition of them Studying LGBT awareness month! Thanks for the honor!” reads the Oct. 31 post.

Images shared by Walsh feature what appears to be two drag performers with an adult sex toy along with other sexually suggestive images and memes.
Following Ellis-Gilmore’s appearance at Peninsula Union, the alleged public masturbator continued sharing other sexually suggestive and explicit images and memes.

In May, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence were honored by the Los Angeles Dodgers during a Pride event at the stadium. The event and the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence were lauded by legacy media as critics were referred to as hateful and bigoted.
