Man Who Threatened To Kill Biden Shot & Killed By FBI

Earlier this week, the man threatened to take action against Biden during his Utah trip on Aug. 9

A man who levied threats against President Joe Biden and other officials has been shot and killed by FBI agents who were executing a search warrant at the man’s Utah residence on Aug. 9.

NBC News reports the warrants were in connection with the threats made against Biden and other public figures, including Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, who is prosecuting former President Donald Trump.

In March, the man allegedly said, “I’ll be waiting in the courthouse parking garage with my suppressed Smith &Wesson M&P 9mm to smoke a radical fool prosecutor that should never have been elected,” referencing Bragg.

The investigation into the deceased suspect, Craig Robertson, 75, began this spring. The FBI notified the Secret Service in June.

Two days ago, Robertson allegedly made a threat in reference to Biden’s trip to Utah this week, stating that he needed to prep his sniper rifle and camouflage, according to NBC.

As reported by DailyMail, one post from Robertson’s Facebook page said, “In my dream I see Joe Biden’s body in a dark corner of a DC parking garage with his head severed and lying in a huge puddle of blood. Hoorah!!!”

“The FBI takes all shooting incidents involving our agents or task force members seriously,” the FBI said in a statement quoted by ABC News. “In accordance with FBI policy, the shooting incident is under review by the FBI’s Inspection Division. As this is an ongoing matter, we have no further details to provide.”

According to federal officials, Robertson was facing three counts — interstate threats, threats against the president, and influencing, impeding and retaliating against federal law enforcement officers by threat.

Among the posts the man allegedly made include a Facebook post, stating, “I hear Biden is coming to Utah. Digging out my old ghillie suit and cleaning the dust off the M24 sniper rifle,” federal officials say, adding that the man promised the post was a “willful true threat to kill or cause injury to kill President Biden.”

The man is also accused of threatening to kill Biden’s brother, Vice President Kamala Harris, as well as officials involved in the now-multiple prosecutions of Trump.
